This is a public service BBS System located in North Charleston, SC, and as such, it is available for everyone to use free of charge.

Please keep in mind, while you are here, that minor children do use this system. That being said please be careful to leave adult and other colorful content in the appropriate place.

There are separate areas for adult content as well as areas for underage users. In addition, we will (on request) set up separate areas targeted at specific user groups. These special areas are kept from the public by requiring a special login ID and Password.

If you belong to such a group, no matter what it is, whether it needs to be locked down or open to the public, you are welcome here and we will do whatever we can to accommodate you and your group.

Please Take Note:

In order for you to gain full access to this system, which includes access to all of our message/conference areas and file areas, you can login using either a full name or a handle, but you must (until further notice) send an email to the system operator requesting the access. This access request must specifically ask for the access you want (in other words, ask for Fido Access, Adult Access, Special File Areas, etc).

You must also give your full verifiable contact information so that we may contact you if needed. (For access to the adult, teen, underage, gay, abdl, special file areas, (etc) You will be required to download, print, and sign a pdf file and then mail it back to us, (we can email it to you if needed).You must also supply copies of a photo id to prove your age.

The following are requirements for full access to this system (include in your email request):

Full Name (First and Last)
Full Mailing Address (including country if outside the US)
Email Address (if you don't have an email, don't worry, you will after completing the sign up process)
Phone Number with Area Code (include country code if outside the US)
Data/Fax Number (this is especially important if you are connecting to us via a modem)

Without the preceding information, you will not be given access to any areas other then local bbs mail, chat and file areas. Everyone however, gets full access to the local areas immediately upon completing the new user signup.

As a public service, this system offers free personal web site hosting for users, and for public service organizations. By public service, we want to be sure you know what we feel is a public service.

In our minds, (and please feel free to correct us if you think were wrong), a public service is a service that is free to the end users (you cannot charge a single dime for your services). It can be any number of things, like churches, community organizations, police, fire, ems, or any other emergency service as long as they are not actually charging for the service. They can recruit members, they can ask for donations or membership dues, or even advertise things like yard or rummage sales. They can also advertise meetings and membership drives.

They cannot under any circumstance, run a store or sell any product or service at our expense. If you want a commercial website, we will be glad to assist you in setting one up at a very reasonable cost, or pointing you in the right direction if you need assistance.

It costs a lot of money to put this system up and keep it running. It is also a full time job to keep everything running smoothly, and it’s like a baby in a way. It requires constant care and feeding to keep it healthy.

We are constantly trying to make this system bigger and better, to do so require the help and understanding of the people who use it. If you have any ideas or want to see any specific features on it, please don't hesitate to contact the system operator with your requests.

In the meantime, please know that we are in the process of adding additional features, like the Fidonet file bone (a world-wide shareware program distribution) so you can download the latest software, and we are in the process of adding a number of doors to the system that will allow you to play online games, some of which are league games where you play with many other users around the world.
